“Eberhard Gauger has been a member of the SCTE for a relatively short time but has served the industry for many years. For those of us who have been involved in the European standardisation process it seems we have known him forever, in practice from the inception of the CENELEC activity on cable network standards. We have all appreciated the hard work and dedication of this individual who has served both as secretary to the TC209 Technical Committee and as convenor of some of it’s working groups.  I have great pleasure, on behalf of the Society and, I’m sure, anyone working in Standards, to present an Honorary Fellowship to Eberhard Gauger.”
